sunshine, food trucks, cycle carts, beer … AND music

Walking around town we spied this poster featuring us!

This prominent display puts us in the mix alongside other friendly musicians (our favorite) and food trucks (also our favorite) and beer (arguably our most favorite for Tim and Adam, or at least a close second after music) and cycle carts (you just have to see to understand, a steampunk grownup version of go-carts …. but not really) and most especially a good time among the good vibe in Huntsville on Saturday.

Here’s the details provided by the folks who have ramped up Ogden Valley events, providing us a stage and big PA system and all the arrangements. Join us for sunshine and music.

We’re on from 1:30 – 3:00 this Saturday May 4 at Huntsville Town Square (free, all ages), but come early to say hi and stay late to listen to more music and enjoy the vibe.

Grand calendar

What a grand year it’s going to be! We’ve just booked regular gigs at the Grand America Lobby Lounge through the end of the year, roughly once a month depending on various goings on. The gig calendar provides the forecast of these and other shows through December.

But you don’t have to look far in advance! This Friday, April 12, from 7:00 – 10:00p, we’ll be filling the luxurious space with music. Enjoy a Friday evening on the town after dinner or before your night out, or just open a tab and settle in on the couch and we’ll serenade you.

The summer is filling up already. If you need us in your backyard or at your wedding, you should let us know so we can fit you in between lounges, stages, and the occasional amphitheater!

kind of a big deal

Sure, you may have seen photos or even heard us play an event at the Egyptian last week, or you joined in the dancing and ice cream at Gandy that weekend. And we’re thrilled that Davis Arts announced their Sunday concert series for the summer and have us prominently listed. More on that later, but for now what we’re especially excited about is our Saturday gig at Lighthouse to close out the Femme as Folk series created by The Ogdenite. Caryn is doubling down on the diva:

Full details here courtesy of The Ogdenite. 21+, $10 cover with splits between the bands and Rock Camp SLC. Doors at 7:00, Ogden icon Korene Greenwood at 8:00, and us following. Come out early and hang with us while we take in the good music, food, drink, and company. We’ll play new stuff, old stuff, and old stuff made new — featuring full Diva mode!

ramping up in March

A few exciting things for us on the calendar. Here’s a fun ramping up into our summer:

  • We get to play the fancy Egyptian Theater to close out the Ogden-Weber Chamber of Commerce’s annual gala. (Adam gets to play a grand piano instead of hauling his keyboard.)
  • We’re back at the Gandy Dancer on Saturday, March 23, 6-8 PM. All ages, free! (But buy food and ice cream and more ice cream and support the Gandy’s goodness!)
  • And we are so excited to be part of the Femme as Folk lineup, closing out the month’s celebration at Lighthouse Lounge on Saturday, March 30, 8-midnight (21+, $10). It’s a big celebration of woman, transgender, and non-binary musicians (the boys get to ride on the coattails of Caryn for this gig) and fundraiser for Rock Camp SLC, so your $10 goes to a good cause as well as good music — both us and Korene Greenwood on the PBR Stage that night. Special thanks to The Ogdenite for envisioning, creating, and turning the wheels on this project and fantastic lineup!

We’re so happy for all this … but also excited about the upcoming months into the summer. There are outdoor event spaces and events in the work, including yet-to-be-announced (like, seriously, we have to keep it secret!) gigs. But we promise that you’ll be first to know.

back at it

We almost forgot to tell you!

In case you lost track, we’re back at Grand America Lobby Lounge this weekend! Saturday, February 10th, 7-10p. We’ve been nursing a couple wounds, diseases and such, but looking forward to being out and about in the big city.

Looking forward, we’ve got some fun things for March and working out details of things to come in the summer. Crossing our fingers and holding dates on our calendars. Stay tuned!
