We play in lots of places, big and small, loud and quiet, inside and out. We’d love to play for you and your event, your family, your friends and their friends and everyone else in the neighborhood. While performing, we can’t believe how lucky we are to be making fun music in the midst of fun people, something we’d do for free. But we also have to setup and prepare and carry a bunch of stuff, so we figure this is where the work is. Take a look below at a few of the standard categories, typical options, and best guesses at some pricing. Let us know if you have something else in mind or want to talk more about pricing and arrangements that work for you.

Weddings & Formal Celebrations

We love parties. We’ll play a reception and/or cocktail hour, celebrating you with whatever vibe you want, mellow to dancing and everything in between. We’re usually on stage up to 3 hours and give you opportunity to use our PA system for speeches, toasts, and announcements. Let us know about a couple songs you want us to learn for dances and we’ll happily incorporate them, and we’ll work the rest of the set to fit with your program and tastes. (Once we played I Will Survive while a member of the wedding party led everyone in a group dance.)

Typical cost: $2500. Add-ons include MC duties, piano accompaniment for ceremony procession/recession, extra travel or setup.

Corporate Events

Sometimes you need music in the background to set a tone, give your associates something to enjoy in between silent auction bids or dinner courses. We can do that. If your people start paying attention we can turn up the volume and lean into a funk groove. But we can also lean back and play Dream a Little Dream and Fly Me to the Moon, sprinkle in a few tasteful instrumentals, and let you use our mic to announce that dessert is served.

Typical cost: $1500. Add-ons include MC duties, extra travel or setup. Can also change the mood with our trio or duo for mellower events (think basement speakeasys or an art opening) or tighter spaces. Our drummer understands. Also, if you’re a cause we should support (as we’ve done for Children’s Justice Center, Ogden Nature Center, etc.), let us know and we might be able to arrange a good deal or even a donation.

House / Backyard Parties

We’ll play a concert for you and your friends in a setting of your choice. We load in stuff into your backyard and plug in the extension cords. We’ll craft a set that’s fun for us and pleases a diverse crowd, and we’ll adapt to fit the mood and callouts from you and your friends or patrons.

Typical cost: $1000

Public gigs

Want to hear and see us live before you book us? Take a look at our gigs page and come out to see for yourself. It might only cost you $5 cover at the door, or maybe nothing at all. We won’t be upset if you leave us a tip … or take a business card to share with all your friends.
